Once inside Narita, you will be awed by the illuminating atmosphere, the sizzling of pans and grills, and the chatter of delighted customers. The hostesses and waiters are courteous and pleasant to all customers. If you sit down at a hibachi grill, you will be amazed by the hibachi maestros working night after night to create the perfect taste and eating experiences. If you sit at the sushi bar, the sushi masters will take any order and make it in front of you with elegance and dexterity.

Narita Japanese Cuisine has been a pioneer for Japanese cuisine in Forest Hills, New York since the early 1980’s. Its employees have dedicated themselves to bring its patrons excellent and affordable Japanese cuisine. It’s been widely regarded by people who’ve dined at Narita as an exceptional restaurant, whether for its ramen for lunch or gourmet dining. Newspaper critics heap praise on Narita as a Queen’s “veteran stops for the precise knifework of sushi chef and the slice-and-dice pyrotechnics of hibachi showmen” (Newsday, 6/30/02). The Narita eating experience is “designed to offer an exploration into the Japanese cuisine with as many open-ended options as the curious diner could desire“ (Queens Tribune).

Our business isn’t just the creation of perfect food, Narita delivers food to you in a way that will tingle your senses and confound you.

When you’re having the time of your life with friends and family at the hibachi grille, you will be assaulted by the snap, crackle, and pop as well as the deft metal-on-metal clatter of genius at work. Of which, the timing is always exemplary and the chefs always spectacular. Our maestros always deliver the food that will send sensations from your tongue to your brain.

Sitting at the sushi bar you will be offered delicious sushi rolls named after local streets or you may want to try samurai sashimi, an excellent 14-piece main course that includes yellowtail, tuna, and salmon. It’s probably best to savor the delectable tastes and feelings that occur when you eat these fresh fish meats.

We serve business lunch from 12 PM to 3 PM, Monday to Saturday. We serve dinner from 5 PM to 10 PM from Sunday to Thursday and 5 PM to 11 PM on Friday and Saturday.
